We share what is needed most in the community to inspire us all to give what we can. Whether it's time and energy through volunteering, material goods, money, skills, or support, we ask everyone to get involved in their own way so we can connect needs with those who can give.

Our work helps build a strong foundation of community support with the goal of ensuring no one goes without the basics.

We reach individuals and families statewide via partnership with the social services community in support of asylum seekers, students, the unhoused population, survivors of domestic violence, and those facing financial adversity.

    Facebook group was created to act as a bulletin board and a bridge.

  • 2020

    we BECAME A 501C3 AND OPENED A 2,000 SQ. FT. COMMUNITY DONATION CENTER

  • 2021

    we EXPANDED TO 4,000 SQ. FT. TO ACCOMMODATE MORE DONATIONS AND FILL MORE REQUESTS

  • 2022

    we hired our first employee

  • 2023

    we REACHED 35K FOLLOWERS ON SOCIAL MEDIA AND HIRED OUR SECOND EMPLOYEE

  • 2024

    we have an Executive Director, Communications Director, Volunteer Program Manager, Finance Manager, and Logistics & Inventory Manager.

  • 2025

    We are expanding to 16,000 sqft one floor building with ample parking off exit 46. This space will allow us to take in more donations, and welcome in more volunteers.

Behind the lady slipper logo

Lady slippers are a rare, endangered species in Maine. They have to go through the cold, harsh season in order to bloom, it is how they germinate. Sometimes, the most difficult season of life can lead us to something more beautiful. It is our hope that we can be part of helping those in danger, those facing impossible hardship feel a bit of relief and hope and they will bloom to, that we may all bloom together.
